Plans were discussed for festivals to be held in Moscow, the capital of Russia, from August 10-12, and in the Haute-Savoie region of France from August 28-31. Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of ALTAV and the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), provided information on the agenda. He stated that Alanya was promoted at the festival held for the first time last year in Krasnaya Presnya Park in Moscow, and that over 150,000 Russian visitors entered the park during the festival, with the Alanya stand being one of the most popular at the event. Dahaoğlu also stated that Alanya will have a presence of 250 square meters outdoors and 25 square meters indoors at the festival this year, adding, "Foreign promotion campaigns have recently been shifting towards festivals. We are adapting to these changes and continuing our preparations."

'Alanya Athlete to Compete in France.'

The festival we will be attending in France is a world-renowned sports festival. At the same time, marathon races will be held in this region, attracting 7,000 runners from 5 continents, and Alanya will be represented there by Ahmet Arslan. Thus, we will support our athlete and also promote the sports activities held in Alanya. On the screen at our stand, images of Alanya and the sports disciplines practiced in our city will be shown to participants throughout the fair.

‘A HEALTH TOURISM BOOM IS COMING’

Furthermore, at the meeting, it was decided to conduct more promotional activities related to health tourism in collaboration with the Alanya Health Tourism Association (ALSTUD). In line with this, Alanya's health tourism potential and its cost-effectiveness advantage will be highlighted at numerous fairs in 2019.
