Alanya Visitor Information Office was established in 2004 in cooperation with Alanya Municipality, ALTİD, and ALTSO. Its purpose is to provide visitors within Alanya with information about addresses and various topics related to the region. Since its opening, the office has been keeping monthly statistics on the questions and topics received from visitors. October 2019 Data: During October, 342 people visited the visitor information office. Of these, 336 people visited the office in person, and 6 people contacted the office via the phone number 0 (242) 511 94 00. Out of the 342 inquiries, 338 people were seeking information, 2 people requested assistance, and 2 people requested translation services. The visitors included: 125 people from Germany (36%), 28 people from the United Kingdom (8%), 37 people from Scandinavia (11%), 20 people from the Netherlands (6%), 19 people from Turkey (6%), 64 people from Russia (19%), and the remaining 49 people (14%) were from various other nationalities. To the people who inquired, information was provided about places to visit in the region 177 times, directions to various addresses were given 134 times, and information about transportation to different areas was provided 109 times. In addition to information and directions, a total of 205 various maps and brochures were distributed. From the opening of the visitor information office on August 19, 2004, to October 1, 2019, 66,080 people have visited the office. This represents an average of 10 people per day, 364 people per month, and an average of 4,130 people per year.
