ALAADDİNOĞLU: "ADDING MORE APPEAL TO ALANYA'S ATTRACTION."
Stating that the increase in flights to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport enhances Alanya's appeal, Alanya Municipality Deputy Mayor Fevzi Alaaddinoğlu said, "These flights will also increase the demand for tourists visiting Alanya. Our goal is for these numbers to increase even further in the coming years. An increase in the number of passengers will proportionally increase the number of flights. I wish these flights all the best for Alanya. I hope for a season free of accidents and problems."
Oktay Karaca, the Honorary Consul of Alanya in Serbia, who was on the first flight from Belgrade, stated that relations between Turkey and Serbia are developing every day, and that these flights will play an important role in strengthening these relations. Karaca said, "We have been in contact in Serbia regarding the twinning of Alanya with the city of Novi Sad. It is a city that was the European Capital of Culture last year, and a city with great potential. Our Alanya Mayor, Adem Murat Yücel, was also there. Turkey-Serbia relations are at their peak. In October, the final signature will be signed to eliminate the passport requirement between our countries. There is great joy there. If there were more flights, more people would come. Currently, there are 3 flights per week. It seems that this number will increase in the coming years, and I wish it well."
