The 20th Alanya Atatürk Public Run and Half Marathon, organized with the slogan "Let's Run for Atatürk, Let's Run with Atatürk," and supported by the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), was completed with the participation of 353 people. The first race of the competitions, which were held in 3 categories, was started by Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel.
In the races held in front of the monument, 87 athletes competed in the half marathon, 192 in the 5-kilometer run, and 74 in the 2-kilometer run. In the half marathon, Hasan Turgut finished first with a time of 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 55 seconds, Kirill Medvedev finished second with a time of 1 hour, 19 minutes, and 25 seconds, and Çağlar Kasım finished third with a time of 1 hour, 21 minutes, and 5 seconds. In the women's category, Meryem Kılınç Gündoğdu finished first with a time of 1 hour, 28 minutes, and 52 seconds, Alevtina Stetsenko finished second with a time of 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 11 seconds, and Meryem Merve Tunçbilek finished third with a time of 1 hour, 55 minutes, and 42 seconds.
