Within the scope of July 1st, Maritime and Cabotage Day, the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) invited participants to a photo contest. Participants uploaded photos taken on the same day, focusing on the theme of "Sea, People, and Alanya." After the participation period ended, the photos were compiled and evaluated by a jury consisting of Alanya Municipal Advisor Abdurrahman Açıkalın, Port Director Mehmet Sayhan, writer and photographer Haşim Yetkin, Alanya Journalists Association (AGC) Chair Gaye Coşkun, and photographer Hakan Pınar from Zebra Agency.
5 PHOTOS DEEMED WORTHY OF AN AWARD
As a result of the evaluations by the jury members, 5 photographs taken by Hüseyin Özsoy, Nevsal Baykara, Saadet Onursal, Selman Korkmaz, and Tuna Aral received the same score and were deemed worthy of the award. Due to this tie, the competition jury decided to distribute the total prize money of 10,000 TL equally among the 5 artists, and to award 2,000 TL to the owners of the winning photographs.
