Alanya State Hospital and the Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) had launched the ‘Give a book too’ campaign to contribute to the library of the Türkler Community Mental Health Center, where patients diagnosed with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders receive treatment. At the same time, support continues for the campaign, which serves as an awareness effort to increase the visibility of the newly opened center.
Stating that the consciousness of being a tourism city can be sustained through social responsibility projects, Detur Alanya Regional Manager Terhi Alanya said, “We have participated in the campaign together with our employees. I invite Alanya tourism professionals to the campaign.”
ALTİD Board Member Elvan Güneş also stated, “Guests of the Türkler Psychiatry Center should feel that we are by their side. This meaningful campaign must receive the necessary support, and the awareness of this center must be increased.”
Alanya Municipality Foreigners Assembly Spokesperson Julia Alaettinoğlu stated, “On behalf of the Alanya Foreigners Assembly, I am supporting the book campaign to increase the recognition of the Psychiatry Center, which became operational this year in Turks, and to contribute to its library.”
The donation points for the ‘Give a Book Too’ campaign, which will end on Tuesday, are as follows: Türkler Community Mental Health Center Information Desk, Alanya State Hospital Social Services Specialist Mehmet Aldemir, and ALTİD.
