The tourist information offices operating in the Kuyularönü region, with the support of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), have announced the statistics for August. The statement included the following:
During August, 232 people applied to our tourism information office. Out of this total, 228 people visited our office, and 4 people contacted us via our office phone number, (242) 511 94 00. Of the 232 total applications, 225 people sought information, 3 requested assistance, and 4 requested translation services.
Among the visitors to our office, 57 were German (25%), 23 were British (10%), 18 were Scandinavian (8%), 8 were Dutch (3%), 26 were Turkish (11%), 39 were Russian (17%), and the remaining 61 people (26%) were tourists from various other nationalities.
Information about the places to visit in our town has been provided to applicants 272 times, directions to various addresses have been given 95 times, and information about transportation to different regions has been provided 79 times. In addition to the information and directions, a total of 85 various maps and brochures have been provided to the applicants.
Since the opening date of our tourism information office on August 19, 2004, a total of 62,476 people have made inquiries. This figure represents an average of 14 people per day and 366 people per month. The average number of inquiries received each year is 2,801.
