District Governor Dr. Hasan Tanrıseven received information from Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili regarding the positive and negative aspects of the 2015 tourism season. Following a general situation assessment with Alanya's leading non-governmental organizations and tourism professionals, District Governor Tanrıseven stated that a meeting will be held to discuss problems and draw a roadmap for the 2016 tourism season. District Governor Tanrıseven said that emphasis should be placed on promotions both abroad and domestically through collective effort. Stating that the necessary work will be carried out to welcome a problem-free 2016 tourism season, District Governor Tanrıseven noted that they would provide the necessary support to tourism professionals as the District Governor's Office. Tanrıseven said, “We must send tourists away satisfied and with tolerance. We must place importance on promotions by re-establishing trust. We must open large stands together at fairs abroad. We must prioritize promotions in unity and solidarity and seek new markets. We must prepare for the 2016 tourism season already. The District Governor's Office, the Municipality, tourism professionals, and non-governmental organizations must seek solutions to problems together. By personally participating in fairs and promotions abroad, we will do our part as the District Governor's Office.”

ALTİD President Sili also provided District Governor Tanrıseven with information regarding their ongoing studies, the problems they encounter in tourism, and the promotional fairs abroad along with the stands that will be opened.
