Alanya Visitor Information Office was established in 2004 in cooperation with Alanya Municipality, ALTİD, and ALTSO. Its purpose is to provide visitors within Alanya with information about addresses and various topics related to the region. Since its opening, the office has been keeping monthly statistics on the activities based on the questions and topics received from visitors. January 2019 Statistics: During January, 247 people visited the visitor information office. Of these, 242 people visited the office in person, and 5 people contacted the office via the phone number 0 (242) 511 94 00. Out of the 247 inquiries, 245 people sought information, 1 person requested assistance, and 1 person requested translation services. The visitors included 105 Germans (42%), 32 British (13%), 29 Scandinavians (12%), 6 Dutch (2%), 31 Turkish citizens (13%), 29 Russians (12%), and the remaining 15 people (6%) were from various other nationalities. To the people who inquired, information was provided about places to visit in the region 112 times, directions to various addresses were given 95 times, and information about transportation to different areas was provided 76 times. In addition to information and directions, a total of 105 various maps and brochures were distributed. Since the opening of the visitor information office on August 19, 2004, until January 31, 2019, 63,933 people have visited the office. This represents an average of 14 people per day and 364 people per month. The average number of visitors per year is 3,996 people.
