The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation and Mayor Adem Murat Yücel stated, "We have shifted our promotional model to social media, filtering it based on the organizations we have, as well as cultural, historical, natural beauty, and transportation advantages."

The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) held a board meeting. The meeting was attended by ALTAV, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, a member of the Board of Directors of the Türkiye Turizm Tanıtım ve Geliştirme Ajansı (TGA) and the Türkiye Otelciler Federasyonu (TÜROFED), the President of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), Burhan Sili, the Vice Presidents of ALTİD and ALTAV, Mehmet Dahaoğlu, and other members of the board. The meeting covered the impact of the "Colors of Life Alanya" artistic promotional event held in Ukraine, featuring paintings of Alanya by Ukrainian artists, the selection of visuals for the 2022 Alanya calendar, plans for inviting individuals and groups to Alanya for promotional purposes, the international fair schedule, and social media promotional activities.

Stating that in recent years they have been continuing their promotional activities through online platforms rather than trade fairs, Chairman Yücel said, "We only participate in fairs that are important for our prestige. We have shifted our promotional model to social media, focusing on cultural, historical, and natural attractions, as well as transportation advantages, using the organizations we have and other resources. Taking into account the international transportation plans, we are conducting digital promotional activities by selecting countries, nations, and regions based on our analyses."

Yücel emphasized that Alanya has achieved significant successes in the field of sports tourism and is among the few cities that promote sustainable sports tourism. "Our city hosts numerous national and international competitions in various disciplines, including the 30th international triathlon races that are being held here today. I would like to express my gratitude to our valuable pioneers who have dedicated their lives to this process."

Stating that the date of the Oceanman Alanya competition, which attracts hundreds of athletes from many continents and countries, is approaching, President Yücel said, "The Open Water Swimming Series Oceanman Alanya stage will be held on October 16-17, and it is another important international event we organize. These events contribute to promotion, and they allow hundreds of athletes and their families to get to know and discover Alanya, providing economic benefits to our merchants. We know that the athletes who come to our city for sporting purposes often fall in love with Alanya and return to our city for vacation in the future. We know very well that the best promotion is to ensure that the people who come to our city return to their countries happily. In this direction, our work is continuing at full speed."
