A Turkey Festival was held in Moscow.

During the Türkiye Festival held in Moscow, the capital of Russia, 8 lucky families won an Alanya vacation through a raffle. These families will stay at hotels that are members of ALTİD: Caretta Beach, Lonicera World, Club Paradiso Resort, Eftalia Splash Resort, Justiniano Club Park Conti, Titan Garden, Sentido Numa Bay Hotel, and Haydarpasha Palace Hotel.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and coordinated by the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), the Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB), and the Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD), the "Turkey Festival" caused a large crowd. Russian tourists flocked to the Turkey promotion areas and participated in activities held in the Alanya promotional tent and garden, winning various gifts.

HELD FOR THE THIRD TIME

The festival, which showcases the richness of Türkiye and aims to increase the number of tourists coming from Russia, was held for the third time this year. Alanya was represented at the festival by Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), and Gürol Birgen, a member of the Board of Directors of ALTAV.

'134,000 Russians Participated'

Dahaoğlu, who made an assessment regarding the festival, stated that there was an impressive level of participation from Türkiye at the event held at Park Krasnaya Presnya, and that 100 acres of the park were used for the festival. Providing information about the number of visitors, Dahaoğlu said: "On the first day, 19,000 people visited the festival area; on the second day, 53,000; and on the last day, 62,000. While 45 booths were set up at the festival last year, this year there were 60. Hotels, tour operators, tourism destinations, and important tourism brands from Türkiye opened booths.

ALTİD surprises 8 families with complimentary accommodation.

Dahaoğlu stated that a lottery was held to gift vacations to 100 families, and added, "As Alanya, we gifted vacations to 8 families. These 8 lucky families will stay at Caretta Beach, Lonicera World, Club Paradiso Resort, Eftalia Splash Resort, Justiniano Club Park Conti, Titan Garden, Sentido Numa Bay Hotel, and Haydarpasha Palace Hotel, which are members of ALTİD."

‘BUILDING BRIDGES OF FRIENDSHIP’

Our former Gazipaşa District Governor, now serving as Deputy Governor in Istanbul, İsmail Gültekin, visited our stand together with Haluk Özsevim, the Coordinator of the Türkiye Festivali. Additionally, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek and Muratpaşa Municipality Mayor Ümit Uysal also supported our promotional tent. We thanked them on behalf of Alanya for their contributions to the festival and conveyed the greetings of Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel and ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili. We are very pleased with the interest shown by the Russians in the festival, in Türkiye, and especially in Alanya. The festival, which grows bigger every year, also makes significant contributions to the development of friendship between the citizens of the two countries. The Russians are also participating in the Alanya Tourism Festival, promoting themselves simultaneously.
