Burhan Sili, Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association, stated, "During the archaeological excavation work at Alanya Castle, very important findings are being recorded that are surprising to scientists."
Members of the Türkiye Turizm Tanıtım ve Geliştirme Ajansı (TGA), the Board of Directors of the Türkiye Otelciler Federasyonu (TÜROFED), and the President of the Alanya Turistik İşletmeciler Derneği (ALTİD), Burhan Sili, along with other members of the ALTİD Board of Directors, visited the Alanya Castle excavation site to meet with the Head of Excavations, Prof. Dr. Osman Eravşar, and the Director of the Alanya Museum, Seher Türkmen. After receiving information about the ongoing work, President Sili stated, "The Alanya archaeological excavation work, which we at ALTİD have been supporting financially and materially for many years, has made significant progress and accelerated, especially after the work was extended to 12 months of the year. With its location, structure, and historical context, Alanya Castle is considered one of the most important historical and tourist sites in the world. Very important findings are being unearthed to a level that surprises scientists. We wanted to see the work firsthand, gather information, support the team, and raise awareness in the public. We sincerely congratulate Prof. Eravşar, our Museum Director Türkmen, and Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, as well as the entire excavation team and all employees of the Alanya Municipality."
