Surfing excitement in Alanya.

Within the scope of the BAKA Project, the Turkish Surfing Championship, initiated by ALTİD in 2012, and the 2019 Olympic Surfing National Team Selection trials will be held in Alanya between December 22, 2018, and January 1, 2019. Mehmet Özgen, an official from the Alanya Surfing Club, stated that approximately 50 surfers from both domestic and international locations have registered for the event, which is held under the auspices of the Developing Sports Branches Federation, and that 10 athletes from Alanya will be competing. As part of the event, Soren Handrup, a surfer from Denmark who arrived in Alanya by bicycle after 4 months of travel, stated that the city is ideal for surfing.

Soren Handrup, a surfer who traveled to Alanya by bicycle from Denmark over a period of 4 months, enjoyed surfing in Alanya's magnificent scenery. Handrup, who described himself as a traveler, stated that Alanya is an ideal city for surfing and that he is happy to be here for this sport.
