The filming crew of the Belgian State Television RTBF, who arrived in our district as guests of our Association through the Brussels Cultural and Promotional Attaché of Belgium, is being hosted in Alanya between August 27 and September 1. With the contributions of Alanya Municipality, the guest filming crew consisting of Guy Lemaire, Jean Ponsard, and Boris Gangolf is being hosted within the framework of a promotional program. Having toured the Alanya Castle, Süleymaniye Mosque, Historical Alanya House, Tophane Neighborhood, Kızılkule, and Shipyard regions on their first day accompanied by Archaeologist İlhami Yetkin, the delegation, following their filming at Alanya Castle, visited Alanya Mayor Hasan Sipahioğlu in his office and received information about Alanya tourism. Answering the questions of Producer Guy Lemaire through the filming of Cameraman Jean Ponsard, Mayor Sipahioğlu provided information regarding the development of Alanya tourism from 1950 to the present. Emphasizing that since 1955, a peaceful tourism approach has been developing and maintained—one that is not centered solely on sea, sand, and sun, but rather one that is intertwined with the city's commercial, cultural, and historical beauties without conflict, Mayor Sipahioğlu stated that foreigners residing in Alanya live both their own cultures and the local culture together. Following the visits to the Alanya Museum and Damlataş Cave, a boat tour, a highland jeep safari tour, a visit to the market-bazaar center, the Dim Cave and Dim Stream region, the Sapadere Village promotional tour, and a meeting with ALTİD President Gülçin Güner as part of their travel program, the delegation will depart from Alanya on September 1.
