“REQUIRES SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM PLANNING”
Stating that the necessity for Alanya to move beyond its trilogy of sea, sand, and sun to gain a share of alternatives such as elderly and health tourism is of great importance for 12-month tourism, ALTİD President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili said, “We are supporting the health tourism offensive launched with ALSTUD in Alanya within the scope of our available resources, and we will continue to do so. Health tourism is a multi-faceted operation that requires planning in both the short and long term. For health tourism to be sustainable in Alanya, direct flights from countries with potential must be operated to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport throughout the 12 months. We are waiting for the steps to be taken in this regard. I believe that Alanya will be successful in health tourism.”
