Alanya District Governor Hulusi Doğan, in his speech, stated that the Cumhurbaşkanlığı Türkiye Bisiklet Turu (Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey) has become one of Turkey's most important sporting events in recent years. Expressing his pride in hosting the final stage of such an event, Doğan distributed a work instruction document he had prepared to the mayors and department heads. Doğan urged the mayors and department heads to perform their duties to the best of their ability, emphasizing that the organization being broadcast live in 123 countries represents a very important opportunity in terms of promotion.
Underlining that everyone living in Alanya should contribute to making the most of this opportunity, Doğan said:
"The visual richness that will be created, the highlighting of local elements, the showcasing of natural beauty, are all extremely important for the promotion of our country and, especially, our district. We must act with this awareness and make the most of this opportunity that has come to our doorstep. We must promote our district on all roads that the athletes will travel from the moment they enter the borders of Alanya. But first, we must demonstrate our difference to the world by organizing the event here in the best possible way."
