In Riga, the capital of Latvia, the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) promoted Alanya by opening a booth in collaboration with the Latvian Hotels and Restaurants Association (AHRL). At the fair, officials from the two largest tour operators, Teztour and Novaturas, stated that sales increased by 25% compared to the previous year. Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) and ALTAV, stated that the Baltic market is a valuable alternative market for Alanya and that there was significant interest in the hotels presented at the fair.

Alanya was promoted in Riga, the capital of Latvia. Although the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism did not participate in this year's fair, promotional activities for Alanya continued. The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and the Latvian Hotels and Restaurants Association (AHRL) had booths at the fair. Liene Egle, a Latvian national who speaks excellent Turkish and is very familiar with Alanya, supported the promotional efforts at the fair, which is of great importance for the Baltic market consisting of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. The fair hosted 860 tourism companies and attracted 30,000 visitors. The Alanya booth was primarily visited by families aged 30-50, who speak Russian and Latvian, and who have children. The most frequently asked questions from these couples included inquiries about "air transportation to Alanya," "activities that can be done in the city with children," "tourist accommodations," and "the best time of year for a vacation." Officials, when asked about the easiest way to reach Alanya by air, stated that Gazipaşa Alanya Airport (GZP) is the best option, adding, "GZP is an essential part of Alanya tourism. The airport's capacity and the increase in the number of flights play a significant role in the development of the region's tourism."
'There is a 25% increase.'
Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) and ALTAV, provided information about the fair, stating, "There was significant interest in the fair. High levels of direct sales were observed at the fairs in Lithuania and Estonia. We are excited to see the same sales performance at this fair. The Baltic market may not represent a very high potential for our region, but it is a region that Alanya values as an alternative market. Alanya is loved and recognized in these countries. At the fair, there was considerable interest in Alanya hotels from both travel agent representatives and guests. Officials from Teztour and Novaturas, the two largest tour operators, stated that sales were going well and that there was a 25% increase compared to last year. They expressed that they have always wanted to fly to GZP, but that it is not currently included in their plans."
A sectoral agreement has been reached.
