Speaking at the protocol ceremony held for this purpose, Okan University Continuing Education Center Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Bilge Nur Katipoğlu stated, “we wanted to create equality of opportunity by bringing some of the educational objectives provided in metropolitan cities to Anatolia, and we are very pleased to be conducting these programs in a tourism center like Alanya, which is at the provincial level, developed, and has made significant progress in higher education in a short time.” Expressing that they intend to meet the potential and educational needs in Alanya by utilizing the advantages of Okan University in programs to be organized within the framework of ALTSO after working hours or on weekends, Katipoğlu added that since the study is a first in Alanya, it will provide very important advantages, and they will generally offer different opportunities and advantages to the participants compared to Foundation Universities and many other universities. Noting that master's programs have been determined as with thesis and without thesis this year, but even those graduating from the non-thesis program will be able to continue to a doctorate and develop themselves academically, she thanked the ALTİD and ALTSO Presidents and executives for their contributions to the realization of the program.

ALTİD President Gülçin Güner emphasized that “Tourism Management” is the main subject in these programs and that, in this sense, there is a vast amount of labor in Alanya that will benefit from this program. Stating that education and development is the most competitive field in the entire world, Güner expressed, “I believe a project has been signed that will add value to the sector; the second and third generations are now entering the sector in Alanya, and this project will be very beneficial for young and middle-aged tourism professionals at the managerial level.”

ALTSO President Kerim Aydoğan stated that this project would contribute to the development in Alanya, where major breakthroughs have been made in the field of higher education in recent years. Aydoğan stated, “The project will provide opportunities for master's degrees and specializations to many managers, employees, and businesspeople who have completed their higher education, entered professional life, and wish to continue their development but do not find sufficient opportunities in our region; noting that while the opportunity to pursue a master's degree exists at A.Ü. Alanya Faculty of Business in our district, it is not particularly attractive, especially for the working population, due to both the limited number of spots and the requirement for a thesis and high scores, he indicated that the protocol will provide a very great contribution to the Alanya business world.”

The Master's Programs that may be opened upon request within the scope of the project have been determined as follows: Tourism Management, Business Administration (Turkish), Banking, Accounting and Auditing, Real Estate Finance and Valuation, Economic Law, International Relations, International Trade, Logistics Management, and Specializations under Turkish Business Administration. According to the information provided, non-thesis programs consist of a total course load of 30 credits, comprising '10 courses' and a non-credit final project. Thesis programs, on the other hand, consist of a total course load of 24 credits, comprising '8 courses' and a non-credit master's thesis. To graduate from the program, the total course load must be completed with a grade point average of 2.00 out of 4.00; success in a master's thesis or term project is not required. The protocol also includes the organization of personal training seminars in Alanya at certain intervals, in addition to the master's programs.
