The Regional and Alanya branch managers of Akbank visited the weekly regular meeting of the ALTİD Board of Directors held on October 6, 2009. During the visit, ALTİD President Gülçin Güner provided bank officials with detailed information regarding Alanya’s facility capacity and the structure and characteristics of facility investments; she emphasized that the facilities are predominantly 15-20 years old and that long-term credit opportunities are highly important for the sector in terms of these facilities being able to renew themselves and remain competitive. Consultations were held on various financing matters, including tourism operating loans, tourism sector investment loans, installment-based commercial loans, and cash management. Bank officials stated that they would present a proposal package to the board of directors following an evaluation they will conduct with their headquarters.
