11,163 companies, institutions, and organizations from 187 countries are participating in the ITB Berlin Fair held at the Messe exhibition grounds in Berlin. Through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Türkiye is promoting its tourism values and accommodation facilities with stands divided into regions across a 3,079-square-meter area. While ALTİD President Gülçin Güner, ALTAV President Faik Kaptanoğlu, ALTSO President Kerim Aydoğan, and many tourism professionals from Alanya are participating in the fair, Alanya Mayor Av. Hasan Sipahioğlu also visited the fair.

At the fair, which will be attended by 11,163 companies, organizations, ministries, local governments, and tourism associations, primarily including tour operators, hotels, airlines, and online reservation websites from 187 countries, Turkey will promote Turkey's tourism values and accommodation facilities at a 3,079 square meter stand, dedicating the first three days of the fair to tourism professionals and the final two days to holidaymakers.
The exhibition area called Messe in Germany's capital, Berlin, consists of 26 halls totaling 160 thousand square meters. In the exhibition, where ambitious countries in the Mediterranean basin such as Spain, Greece, Italy, and Egypt set up stands of at least 2 thousand square meters each, Turkey rented an area of 3 thousand 79 square meters this year.
On average, between 50 and 70 tourism ministers visit the fair every year. The fair, which is open only to tourism professionals for the first three days and to vacationers for the last two days, will be visited by approximately 170,000 people, including 110,000 tourism professionals. Journalists are also showing great interest in the fair. This year, around 7,000 journalists from nearly 100 countries have applied for accreditation to cover the fair.
One of the most colorful countries of the fair will once again be Türkiye, as it has been for many years. In the area leased by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, emphasis will be placed on promotion on a regional basis. In the area leased by the Ministry, regions will carry out promotional work by setting up separate stands.
At the ITB Berlin Fair, where numerous conferences, panels, and open sessions will be held and interesting and important presentations regarding the future of the tourism sector in the world will be delivered, specialized halls concerning various areas of tourism, such as camping and caravan tourism, cruise tourism, nature and adventure tourism, and business tourism, will be opened this year just as in the past.
In addition to ALTİD President Gülçin Güner, ALTAV President Faik Kaptanoğlu, and ALTSO President Kerim Aydoğan, many Alanya tourism professionals are participating in the Fair, in which we are taking part within the Ministry stand. The ITB Berlin Fair, which was also visited by Alanya Mayor Av. Hasan Sipahioğlu, will conclude on March 11.
