Spanish photographer Ainhoa Goma and the magazine's editor Clara Arnedo of ‘Lonely Planet Traveller’ magazine, who have been in Antalya for four days for regional promotion under the sponsorship of the Mediterranean Tourist Hoteliers and Operators Association (AKTOB), also visited Alanya for one day hosted by the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV). ALTAV Board Member Gürol Birgen, who welcomed the members of the press and provided information, described Alanya—where city, culture, nature, and tourism coexist—to the Spaniards. The foreign guests, who photographed Dim Cave, the historic Shipyard, and Alanya Castle during their tour, expressed that it was their first time visiting Alanya, that they liked the region very much, and that their next visit would be for holiday purposes. Stating that they are leaving Alanya with very different information and photographs, Goma and Arnedo noted that they will devote extensive space to Alanya in the next issue of ‘Lonely Planet Traveller’. The well-known magazine, which is published and distributed in Spanish throughout Spain, is a monthly periodical.
