The 8th Alanya International Christmas Market, organized by the ALANYA Municipality Foreigners' Council, was established with 140 stalls behind the municipality building. At the event, where various shows were staged, food and beverage stalls drew great interest. In a raffle held at the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) stand, a two-night New Year's holiday was gifted to three couples. Stating that the resident foreigners living in Alanya are volunteer tourism ambassadors, ALTAV and Alanya Association of Tourism Professionals (ALTİD) Vice President Mehmet Dahaoğlu said, “Around 38 thousand title deeds in Alanya belong to our foreign guests. People coming from all over the world live in peace in this distinguished city of our country. Just like the millions of Turks living in Germany and Belgium, they also live out their traditions, customs, and beliefs in our country. Tourism is a concept that can exist as long as world peace exists. Alanya is one of the most beautiful examples of this in the world.” Dahaoğlu added that through the holiday giveaway campaign, they established contact with individuals with whom international promotion work could be carried out and explained the foundation's activities.
