Faik KAPTANOĞLU, participating in the fair on behalf of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation, stated in his meetings with tour operators that, in general terms, interest in Türkiye and Alanya is higher compared to previous years. It was noted that during meetings with Firstchoice and Thomas Cook, the view emerged that there would be an increase in demand for Alanya in the 2008 season and that next year would pass more successfully. It was also stated that the Ministry of Tourism of Türkiye participated in the fair in a more organized manner this year. The Alanya Stand, which was also visited by Minister of Tourism Ertuğrul Günay and Antalya Deputy Sadık Badak, saw intense interest from professionals and the public. At the fair, pocket guides, maps, brochures, hotel guides, etc., prepared by ALTAV for Alanya, along with promotional materials and evil eye beads, were distributed, and Turkish coffee and Turkish Delight were served.
