Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) and the Alanya Municipality’s Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams are continuing their coordinated cleaning efforts along the coastline following the heavy rains that have affected our region in recent days. Waste that has accumulated along the coast due to the three days of heavy rain is being cleaned up with a comprehensive operation.

Stating that the pollution experienced after the rain is a natural process, the President of the Alanya Tourist Operators Association, Burhan Sili, said, “Together with the Municipality and our own teams, we continue the cleaning efforts along the coastline. The cleanliness of our beaches, which are one of the most important assets of Alanya, is of great importance not only in terms of tourism but also in terms of ecological balance. Although the pollution that occurs after heavy rains is a natural process, we act with a common sense of responsibility to minimize this situation. Alanya continues to be one of the exemplary destinations of the Mediterranean with its blue flag beaches and environmentally conscious tourism approach. Despite the challenges brought by natural conditions, we aim for both local people and guests to spend time in a cleaner, healthier, and safer coastal environment with sustainable environmental management.”
