The pulse of tourism is beating in Alanya.

The Tourism Evaluation Meeting and Cocktail, bringing together the key players shaping the direction of Turkish tourism, was held under the auspices of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association. ALTİD President Burhan Sili stated, "We will continue to provide encouragement and offer insights to our sector."

The Alanya Tourism Operators Association Tourism Evaluation Meeting and Cocktail Reception was held at the Mylome Luxury Resort Hotel. Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nadir Alpaslan participated via teleconference, and the meeting, moderated by Burhan Sili, Member of the Board of Directors of the Türkiye Turizm Tanıtım ve Geliştirme Ajansı (TGA), the Türkiye Otelciler Federasyonu (TÜROFED), and President of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), featured speakers including Vural Karasu, General Manager of Anex Tour; Okay Yıldırım, Chairman of the Executive Board of Meeting Point Türkiye; Münci Karakaya, General Manager of MTS Globe Türkiye; Suat Özbek, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of ETS Tur; Şükrü Önal, Sales and Marketing Coordinator of Corendon Touristic; and Yiğit Laçin, General Manager of TAV Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport. The meeting, where evaluations of source markets, plans for 2023, and assessments of the Alanya destination were presented, was attended by a large number of tourism facilities and agency operators. At the end of the meeting, Sururi Çorabatır, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TÜROFED, also took the stage to give a speech. The subsequent cocktail reception was attended by Alanya District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, presidents of chambers, associations, institutions, foundations, and a large number of tourism officials.

ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili, in his general assessment following the organization, stated the following: "With the pandemic period, we held the first of the events that we were unable to organize in the last two years on June 14, with the participation of all our members, tour operators, agency representatives, and the Alanya protocol. At this meeting, which saw high-level and intense participation, we held a panel with representatives of tour operators and agencies operating in different source markets in order to provide guidance to our members. We received feedback that this meeting, and the cocktail reception that followed, were extremely productive and enlightening, and we realized how much we had missed being together. In the upcoming period, we will continue to try to boost the morale of our sector and provide informative events. On the other hand, we also received information and held discussions regarding the current status, future projections, and what can be done regarding TAV Gazipaşa Alanya Airport, which is important for our destination. In short, it was a very productive and enjoyable gathering. On behalf of the board of directors, I would like to thank all the speakers and guests who participated and did not hesitate to join us."
