Burhan Sili, a member of the Board of Directors of the Türkiye Otelciler Federasyonu (TÜROFED) and the President of the Alanya Turistik İşletmeciler Derneği (ALTİD), stated that they have been participating in the Eastern Mediterranean Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT), one of the top five largest tourism fairs in the world, continuously, promoting Alanya. He added that they will be conducting important meetings with tour operator representatives and officials from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism at the Alanya stand, located in Hall 3, booth B318, which features a specially designed 63 square meter space.

Sili stated that ALTİD has been participating in EMITT, a meeting point for countries around the world, for 20 years. "Our discussions will primarily focus on the advantages of Alanya during the winter season, the latest developments and regulations at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, accessibility initiatives, the facilities provided for sports clubs to hold training camps, and health tourism, among other topics."

From January 28th to 31st, 2016, panels will be held during the fair at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, focusing on topics such as "Branding in Tourism" and "Health Tourism." EMITT, in its 20th year, will be a prominent meeting point for travel enthusiasts, offering early booking discounts, holiday giveaways, and promotions of vacation destinations in 80 countries, including Turkey.
TO BE BUILT ON A 70,000 SQUARE METER AREA
The fair, which will be held in 11 halls totaling 70,000 square meters at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, will feature country pavilions, Turkey's holiday destinations, winter and outdoor tourism destinations, hotels and tourism centers, tour operators, travel agencies, and hotels. Participants will introduce a wide range of colorful holiday destinations to fair visitors.
4,500 INSTITUTIONS WILL PARTICIPATE
It is aimed that a total of 4,500 institutions, organizations, and municipalities from 80 countries will participate in EMITT. Fair visitors will have the opportunity to realize their 2016 vacation plans and get to know new destinations thanks to this diverse participation.
