Şükrü Cimrin, a member of the Board of Directors of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), announced the launch of two websites, www.alanyaacikoteller.com and www.alanyaopenhotels.com, which provide an updated list of ALTİD member hotels that are currently open in Alanya. Cimrin provided the following information regarding the matter: "As ALTİD, we have launched two new websites. The addresses of these sites, which are prepared in Turkish and English, are: www.alanyaacikoteller.com and www.alanyaopenhotels.com. As you know, our accommodation facilities are gradually reopening depending on travel restrictions in various countries, while some have decided not to open, and others are monitoring developments. Therefore, the list of which facilities are open is constantly changing. Our primary goal in creating these websites is to enable both domestic and foreign guests, as well as tourism professionals, who are planning vacations, to easily learn about the hotels that are open in Alanya and to have access to accurate information. Travel agencies operating in markets that are gradually reopening are having difficulty tracking and learning which facilities are open. Facilities that inform our association of their opening dates are activated on our websites from the day they open. Our hotels are listed on these websites along with their contact information, sorted by star rating and alphabetically. The openings and closures of our facilities are monitored by the ALTİD secretariat and updated regularly. One of our goals is to create a reliable reference point where openings and closures can be continuously tracked. By promoting the use of these websites, we aim to contribute, even in a small way, to individual bookings. With the awareness of the importance of each reservation and stay we receive from the shrinking tourism market of 2020, ALTİD continues its work."
