A sister city protocol was signed between Alanya and Schwechat 5 years ago, paving the way for significant cooperation between these two cities.
Within the scope of Turkish Week, the jewelry exhibition, the Alanya Photographs exhibition, and the Yallos exhibition were presented to the sister municipality. Thousands of brochures, CDs, booklets, banners, and bags brought from Alanya were distributed to local tradespeople. The streets were decorated with Turkish flags. Artists from the Antalya State Opera and Ballet gave concerts, reflecting Turkish culture. Dishes prepared by chefs brought from Alanya were served to the people of Schwechat.
