Alanya was awarded the "Best Managed QM Tourism Destination in Turkey" prize at the 'QM-Quality Management Awards,' which is considered the Oscar of Turkish tourism.
Burhan Sili, Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) and a Board Member of the Türkiye Hotels Federation (TÜROFED), received the "Best Managed Tourism Destination" award from the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA). Sili, who brought the award to Alanya, stated, "As the most experienced tourism destination in our country, we, as a city, deserved this award by successfully managing crises even under the most difficult conditions. This award is a source of morale for all those who earn their living from tourism in Alanya. I would like to thank our Alanya Mayor, Mr. Adem Murat Yücel, and all those involved, including our hotel operators, travel agency representatives, merchants, and our people." The event, which was also attended by Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice Chairman of ALTİD and ALTAV, attracted significant interest from prominent figures in the tourism sector.
"QM AWARDS" Announces the Best in Turkish Tourism.
The QM-Quality Management Awards, considered the "Oscar" of Turkish tourism and known as "Turkey's Most Comprehensive Tourism Awards," were presented at a spectacular event held at Megasaray Westbeach. A total of 74 individuals and brands received QM Awards in 10 main categories. The QM award ceremony, which brought together tourism industry professionals and stakeholders from all over Turkey, served as a morale booster for the new season and fostered a strong synergy among industry representatives.

The QM Awards ceremony began with a cocktail reception at the Megasaray Westbeach Hotel. The distinguished guests of the QM Tourism Awards, who then took their places for the gala dinner, eagerly supported the QM Awards presentations following the opening speeches. Due to weather conditions, the laser show and the Agora Symphony Orchestra (AGO), which were organized for the gala evening, were unable to perform. The guests were captivated by the colorful performance of the Respect Music Group.
Despite all the negative effects of the weather conditions, the guests enthusiastically applauded the QM Awards presentations throughout the night. As the rain drizzled, the excitement of the crowd grew, and the QM AWARDS found their rightful owners with great anticipation. Following the award ceremony, the guests enjoyed pleasant moments with percussion artist Onur Bolat in the Megasaray Westbeach lobby.
Selçuk Meral, Chairman of the Board of GM CENTER and Founder of the QM AWARDS, in his opening speech, thanked those who participated and provided great support to the tourism industry, emphasizing that the QM Awards, which aims to appreciate and encourage role models in "Turkish Tourism," is of great importance for Turkish tourism due to the motivation and synergy it creates.
Meral stated: "The true value is formed at the end of challenging processes. The Turkish tourism sector has once again demonstrated how important it is, especially during these difficult years. Those who constantly prove that Turkish tourism is an invaluable asset for both Turkey and the world, who maintain the sector with great sacrifices, tirelessly, and with dedication, are our valuable tourism investors, professionals, and employees. At the QM Gala, 74 individuals and brands received QM Awards in 10 different categories, and the awards were presented to them.
