The weekly routine meetings of the ALTİD Board of Directors are continuing. This week's board meeting, held on December 6, 2011, at the ALTİD service building, was visited by ALTSO Secretary General Servet Ünlü and ALTAB council member Hasan Uysal. Within the framework of the project activities titled “ALTSO VOC-Test Center: Here is the Standard, Here is the Quality,” carried out as part of UYEP (the Project for Strengthening the Vocational Qualification Authority and the National Qualification System in Türkiye), in which ALTİD participates as a social partner, the preparation of standards and draft national qualification studies for the occupations of Housekeeping Supervisor - level 6, Front Office Manager - level 6, and Laundry Attendant - level 2 within the tourism-accommodation sub-sector of the accommodation sector group were evaluated. Hasan Uysal, as the Alanya Tourism Service Association, shared information regarding the research conducted on disposal facilities concerning the disposal of solid waste, which is Alanya's most significant problem, and the characteristics of these facilities.
