Elvan Güneş, a member of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation's Board of Directors, said, "As a result of our discussions at the Belgrade Tourism Fair, Milica Pavlovic, a pop star followed in the Balkans and Russia, will shoot a music video in Alanya. We always return from fairs with significant results."

The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), which serves as an example in international promotional efforts, has undertaken another important project. During the tourism fair held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, from February 21st to 24th, contact was established with the managers of Serbian pop star Milica Pavlovic, and a preliminary agreement was reached for filming a music video in Alanya. The managers, who believe that Alanya provides the necessary conditions and environment for the music video production, decided to visit Alanya for preliminary work. Elvan Güneş, a member of the ALTAV Board of Directors and General Secretary of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), made a statement regarding the developments, stating that this development will make a very important contribution to the promotion of Alanya, especially in the Balkans and Russia. "We have previously facilitated the filming of music videos by Bulgarian and Serbian artists in Alanya, which resulted in Alanya images being shown millions of times on television channels in those countries. We will carry out another very important project and reach millions of foreign viewers again," she said.

'WILL VISIT ALANYA BEFORE THAT'

Güneş stated that the Serbian pop star Milica Pavlovic will be coming to Alanya for a feasibility study prior to the shooting of her music video. "Even this trip, which Pavlovic will be taking with her team, will be a unique promotional opportunity. Alanya will be discussed in the entertainment press of the countries that follow her, as well as on her own social media accounts."

"FAIRS ARE NOT DEAD."

Güneş stated that while it is often said that fairs are declining due to the heavy use of social media and the impact of online sales, this perspective is not entirely accurate and needs to be examined from a different angle. "I can confidently say that ALTAV is the most ambitious and hardworking civil society promotional organization in Turkey. We have repeatedly received praise and commendation from officials at the Ministry, Advisory Office, Embassy, and Governorate. Our approach is open, and we are putting in a lot of effort. We are constantly asking ourselves, 'What can we add to what already exists?' When we look around, we always see that the Alanya stand is the most active one. Our work is not just about distributing brochures. We always bring back journalists, social media influencers, celebrities, and bloggers from each fair. We owe the fact that a foreign pop star music video is being filmed in Alanya for the third time to these fairs," he said.
