Instead of waiting for support and assistance from elsewhere for the promotion of Alanya for many years, the Alanya Tourist Operators Association took the initiative into its own hands and achieved intensive and productive work. For many years, it has made great contributions to Alanya becoming an international brand by participating not only in well-known major tourism fairs but also in tourism, culture, and promotion fairs in many different countries, promotion nights, and tour operator workshops. Even at the point where many people and institutions began to lose hope, they established dialogue with Israeli tourism professionals with faith, patience, and effectiveness, and succeeded in keeping the tourism movement between the two countries alive. ALTİD has also ensured the participation of suitable hotels to contribute to Alanya becoming 'Barrier-Free Cities'.
