The West Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), together with the Akdeniz University Distance Education Application and Research Center (AKUZEM), organized a preparatory meeting for the Tourism and Hotel Management Certificate Program in Antalya on 23.07.2013. At the meeting, which saw wide participation from tourism professionals in Antalya, actions that could be taken regarding the training of personnel working in the tourism sector were discussed. Participants were informed about the Distance Education Certificate Program, which was prepared to include 5 main subjects: Housekeeping, Front Office, Animation, Food and Beverage, and Kitchen Services, being some of the most important service areas in the tourism sector. Vice President Ms. Hayriye Sadullahoğlu Argun attended the preparatory meeting representing ALTİD.
