Due to continuous rainfall and excessive wave activity in Alanya, waste materials washed ashore are being removed from the beaches through a joint effort by Alanya Municipality and ALTİD cleaning teams. Waste carried by rivers into the sea, combined with pollution on the seabed, is causing the beaches to look unsightly. Plastic bags, bottles, and metal cans are being collected and bagged. Plant debris, reeds, and wood waste are being gathered in a designated area, separated from the sand, and carefully removed to ensure the cleanliness of the coastline.
