The Board Members of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED) visited Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy in Ankara. The visit, chaired by TÜROFED Board Chairman Sururi Çorabatır, was attended by TÜROFED Vice Chairmen Mehmet Tanju İşler, Bülent Bülbüloğlu, Tacettin Özden, Erkan Yağcı, and Yakup Dinler, as well as TÜROFED Board Members Burhan Sili, Birol Akman, Halit Ergül, Tayyar Zaimoğlu, Halil Özyurt, and Bülent Uysal. Minister Ersoy congratulated TÜROFED Chairman Çorabatır and the Board Members, who assumed office at the 6th Ordinary General Assembly held on December 21, 2019, and wished them success in their work. During the meeting, attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nadir Alpaslan and Minister's Advisor Neşe Çıldık, the TÜROFED delegation explained the problems facing the sector that require short- and medium-term solutions, and expressed their expectations. The meeting also addressed the Ministry's tourism strategies for the 2020-2023 period.
