The Norwegian TV production company Fremantle Media Norge dedicated an episode of its series "My First Holiday" to Alanya, with the support of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV). The crew, which completed filming of the Alanya Cable Car, Kale (castle), Dim River, beaches, banana and strawberry farms in one week, has returned to Norway. The series, which tells the story of a different couple's first foreign vacation in each episode, will be broadcast on TV2, a high-rating Norwegian national channel, in the coming days.
'Filming is taking place in popular cities.'
ALTAV Board Member Yakup Uslu stated that they are continuing their promotional activities in a multifaceted manner. "TV programs hold an important place among our promotional models. In this effort, we ensured that Alanya was featured in a Norwegian TV series. This series is visiting popular tourist cities such as Rome and Mallorca. A production team of 4 people films each program, documenting how a different couple spends their time in the city they are vacationing in, starting from the airport."
“VERY IMPORTANT FOR BUSINESSES IN THE TOURISM SECTOR.”
Uslu stated that the Scandinavian countries are of great importance to Alanya, and said, "It is very important for our tourism businesses as well. We need to attract Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and Danish tourists to Alanya again, just as we did in previous years. This year, we were unable to participate in the tourism fairs in Norway and Sweden because the Ministry of Culture and Tourism did not participate in them. However, we implemented a different strategy by promoting Alanya at the real estate fairs in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö."
