ITB, considered the tourism stock exchange of the world, continues in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Alanya is participating in the fair under the umbrella of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV). Burhan Sili, President of the Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) and Board Member of the Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED), who is in Berlin for the fair promotion and stated that they are conducting meetings with tour operators and media representatives, recorded the following:
“WE WILL EMERGE FROM THIS PROCESS SUCCESSFULLY”
In light of our meetings with tour operators, although there are certain negatives in this market, it is anticipated that a certain recovery process will be entered through last-minute sales. The point to be noted here is to ensure the continuity of flight activity by providing support within the next three months. If we evaluate the point where Turkish tourism has reached, I am of the opinion that we can get through this year with the measures we take. I hope that all those operating in the sector, especially accommodation units, can prepare themselves for the upcoming season by making correct plans. Our meetings will continue for 5 days at ITB. Turkish tourism and its tourism professionals are extremely strong and will emerge successfully from this difficult process.

On the other hand, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mahir Ünal visited the Alanya stand and met with tourism professionals. Additionally, ALTAV Vice President Mehmet Dahaoğlu presented a plaque to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Berlin Promotion Counselor Dr. Tahsin Yılmaz for his contributions.
