According to the Ministry of Interior's Decree on Deputy Governors and District Governors, Antalya Deputy Governor Recep Yüksel has been appointed to the position of Samsun Deputy Governor. Before moving to his new post, Yüksel met with tourism professionals and heads of non-governmental organizations in the Alanya region. The meeting, held at the Alanya Association of Tourist Operators (ALTİD), was attended by ALTİD President Burhan Sili, Türkiye Association of Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) Alanya Regional Executive Board (BYK) President Suat Çavuşoğlu, TÜROFED Board Member Gülçin Güner, Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) President Faik Kaptanoğlu, Skal Alanya Period President Mehmet Nedanlı, Cleopatra Hoteliers Association President Servet Şakiroğlu, Konaklı Association of Tourist Operators (KONTİD) President Ali Orkan, Alanya City Council President Nurhan Özcan, Alanya Environmental Education and Blue Flag Association (ALÇED) President Şerefnur Kayhan, ALTİD Vice Presidents Hızır Bozdoğan and Mehmet Dahaoğlu, and tourism professionals Ayşegül Dursun Karaca and Halil Çakır. At the end of the meeting, a plaque was presented to Yüksel for his contributions to Alanya and its tourism.

Speaking at the farewell meeting, Yüksel stated that he has always looked upon Antalya’s Alanya region with confidence and expressed that he cites Alanya tourism as an example in every field. Emphasizing that they have always worked in harmony with Alanya tourism professionals and the administrations of non-governmental organizations, Yüksel said, “Professional administrations provide great contributions to the regional administration. In this sense, I view you as colleagues and I thank you for the support you have provided to date.”

ALTİD President and Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED) Board Member Burhan Sili also stated, “Considering his expertise in the field of tourism and his contributions to our region's tourism during his term of office, I believe our Deputy Governor Mr. Recep Yüksel will achieve significant works in his new post, Samsun. Mr. Yüksel is an important opportunity for the tourism of the Samsun region.”

TÜROFED Board Member Gülçin Güner also emphasized that Yüksel is a name who remains reachable at any hour of the day during his tenure as the Deputy Governor of Antalya, making an effort to overcome problems regardless of time and place, and stated, “We owe our gratitude to Mr. Yüksel for the contributions he has made to Antalya and Alanya tourism to date.”
