ALTİD presented plaques of appreciation to JPS, Alara Güvenlik, and Lara Cankurtaran, companies providing security and lifeguard services on the beaches of Alanya. ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili stated that they conduct lifeguard and security operations at 130 kiosks to ensure the safety of the essential elements of sea, sand, and sun. Sili emphasized that the main problem facing the sector is the pressure of costs and regulations, and that the reason guests are not spending money is due to high prices and the general economic difficulties.

ALTİD presented commemorative plaques to the companies to which the security personnel and lifeguards working on the beaches of Alanya are affiliated, in recognition of their services.

The Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD) presented plaques of appreciation to JPS, Alara Güvenlik, and Lara Lifeguard companies, who ensured the safety of Alanya's beaches and swimmers throughout the season. ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili, on behalf of the ALTİD board of directors, presented the plaques and also thanked all the lifeguards and security personnel for their efforts.

"We at ALTİD are making a great effort."

Chairman Sili stated the following: "We wanted to hold a press conference to inform you about the activities of our security personnel and lifeguards working on our beaches under the umbrella of ALTİD. We also shared information about the rules in our beach kiosks, the work being done, and the efforts that ALTİD is making regarding these beach kiosks, both on the beach and in the kiosks themselves. We are making a great effort in this regard as ALTİD. Our core product is sea, sand, and sun. Both our security personnel and our lifeguards are working to prevent problems that may arise in this product to the best of their ability. Furthermore, there are approximately 130 kiosks on the beaches of Alanya, and each kiosk has its own lifeguard, as well as security measures in place. As is the case everywhere in the world, minor incidents sometimes occur here as well. However, our greatest concern is to prevent any loss of life. We are doing our best in this regard."

“THE MAIN PROBLEM IS COSTS.”
Sili emphasized that the main problems in the sector are costs and currency pressure. "When we look at the airport figures, we broke records last year. This year, we are seeing activity since January with performance exceeding that level. However, as tourism professionals, our main problem is the increase in costs and currency pressure. We are unfortunately not having a very productive season because the rate of increase in costs is not matched by the increase in the exchange rate. We hope that this year, under the current economic conditions, will be a manageable period. Next year, this process will not continue in the same way, and everything will return to normal. On the other hand, there are complaints that the guests who are showing interest in us are not spending money in the city. Because we operate under an all-inclusive system, these problems may occur in restaurants, entertainment venues, or bars. However, in general, the high prices are also a concern for those visiting us. We cannot ignore the complaints we receive from people who go out, eat at a restaurant, or use other services. Because the prices are too high, people are hesitant to go out again. Moreover, we see that the profile of our guests does not have a very high budget, and they are reluctant to spend money outside. This is not just the case with us, but is due to economic difficulties worldwide. As a result, people are not giving up their vacations, but they are also being careful about extra expenses. Therefore, we need to gain people's trust with the right pricing and the right service in order to overcome this situation again. I believe that with the improvement of the Turkish economy in the coming years, this will be much easier to achieve."
