The Alanya Hotel, Restaurant Equipment, Indoor and Outdoor Products, Construction and Decoration Materials Specialized Fair (ALODİF), organized for the third time this year by the AFT Fuarcılık Organizasyon ve Tanıtım company, opened at the Park Karting Facilities located in Kestel. The opening ceremony was attended by Alanya District Governor Erhan Özdemir, Alanya Deputy Mayor Nazmi Yüksel, Türkiye Otelciler Federasyonu (TÜROFED) Board Member and Alanya Turistik İşletmeciler Derneği (ALTİD) President Burhan Sili, Alanya Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası (ALTSO) President Mehmet Şahin, company representatives, and citizens.
DISTRICT GOVERNOR CITED THE BERLIN ITB EXAMPLE
In his speech at the opening, District Governor Özdemir stated that the exhibition industry brings the producer, the consumer, and the marketer together under one roof,
an important part of the sector economy that can minimize all costs,
said that it is an entrance gate. Expressing that exhibitionism is a business style that should be prioritized in this sense, District Governor Özdemir emphasized that international exhibitionism must be brought to Alanya. Citing the ITB Berlin Tourism Fair as an example, District Governor Özdemir stated, “There are airports to our right and to our left. We have become an extraordinarily important center in terms of transportation. We need to bring international exhibitionism to our Alanya.”
“ALANYA HAS NEARLY 700 ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES”
Özdemir finally stated that the fair holds an important place for Alanya, which is one of our country's largest tourism centers, with nearly 700 accommodation facilities and approximately 200 thousand starred beds. He noted that Alanya is a district without an equal in Turkey, with an average foreign exchange inflow of 5 billion dollars that it provides to the country's economy.
“A STARTING POINT FOR 12-MONTH TOURISM”
AFT Fuarcılık General Coordinator Fuat Aktaş also stated that 90 percent of the exhibition area has been filled this year. Emphasizing that the exhibition held in Alanya aims to contribute to the regional economy and promotion, Aktaş said, “Alanya is a large district with its population and infrastructure. Fair organizations are a starting point for spreading tourism across 12 months.” ALTSO President Mehmet Şahin congratulated those who contributed to the sustainability of the fair in Alanya and wished them success.
