The film starring Ediz Hun, Selma Güneri, Tomris Oğuzalp, Irmak Ünal, Özgür Özberk, and Cenk Sözeri has begun to receive extensive coverage in the entertainment press. Yüksel Aytuğ, a columnist for the Günaydın newspaper, emphasized in his column written on the day filming commenced that the film tells the life story of Zeki Müren.
The Vatan newspaper and Star TV also carried news of the film production in Alanya. Director Ülkü Erakalın thanked the Alanya Mayor for the support provided to them.
The Mayor, who visited the crew, also wished them success.
The article by Yüksel Aytuğ published in the Günaydın newspaper, which was also covered by the Sabah newspaper teams, reads:
Famous film director Ülkü Erakalın is sitting in the director's chair again today after 21 years. And this is for a motion picture that will create a great sensation... In the film titled "Çığlık Çığlığa Bir Sevda," Ediz Hun, Selma Güneri, Tomris Oğuzalp, Irmak Ünal, Özgür Özberk, and Cenk Sözeri are taking roles. The film crew is preparing to say "motor" in Alanya today. The film tells of the birth of a star, their rise to the summit, and their inability to digest falling from that summit, leading to their passing during an award ceremony. Although his name is not mentioned in the film, it is quite obvious that this great star is the Sun of Art, Zeki Müren. In the film, which Ülkü Erakalın has been working on for approximately 2 years and for which she also wrote the screenplay, Zeki Müren will be portrayed by Ediz Hun, one of the living legends of Yeşilçam. Just like Bodrum, which hosted the Sun of Art's final years, the entire film will be shot in a coastal city, Alanya. The Alanya Municipality will mobilize all its material and spiritual resources for the crew during the filming. The film will be released after participating in national and international film festivals. Erakalın was one of the people closest to Zeki Müren, with whom she worked for a long time and also directed a film titled "Katibim." Being aware of even one of the greatest secrets of the Pasha of Bodrum, Erakalın also shared snippets from the life of Zeki Müren with audiences in her one-person play, "Yıldızlar Gökte Yaşar." Most recently, the famous director Erakalın, who directed the film "Kısrak" starring Hülya Avşar in 1987, says while experiencing the excitement of going behind the camera again after 21 years, "I see this as the project of my life. This film will serve as a cautionary tale for every artist."
