The second edition of the "Eyes of Alanya" photo contest, organized as part of social media promotion, has begun. Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation, said, "In this enjoyable contest where photos taken with mobile phones are also accepted, a total of 30,000 TL in prize money will be awarded to the top 3 participants."
The "Eyes of Alanya" International Alanya Photography Competition, organized by the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and supported by the Alanya Municipality, the Alanya Association of Tourism Operators (ALTİD), Alanya Teleferik, and Stay Property, has begun. This time, participants will compete for the "Best Alanya Vacation Photo" award. The competition, which was first held before the pandemic, is open to residents of the city and tourists visiting Alanya. Previously, 1,730 people had submitted 2,137 photos. As a result of the jury's evaluations, the photograph "Ballerina at the Lighthouse" by Alsu Deveci was selected as the first-place winner.

In this context, registration for the 'Eyes of Alanya' photo contest, which we announced through the www.eyesofalanya.com website, has begun. This fun contest accepts photos taken with mobile phones, and the top 3 participants will receive a total of 30,000 TL in prize money. We invite all our citizens, both domestic and foreign, and our holidaymakers to participate in this contest."
INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Applications will close on October 30, 2022. Photos that pass the preliminary selection will be shared on the competition's Instagram account. This international competition does not require residency, but the photos must have been taken in Alanya within the last year. Users can upload a maximum of 4 photos by registering on the 'Eyes of Alanya' website. The first 20 photos selected by the jury will be eligible for exhibition. The visuals for the 2023 Alanya events calendar, prepared by ALTAV, will also be created using photos submitted by the participants. Details are available at www.eyesofalanya.com.
