Alanya promotion is being carried out under the Ministry's umbrella at the Intourmarket Moscow Fair, which is being held in a different hall prior to Russia's largest fair, MITT Moscow, scheduled to take place between March 14-16. Vice President of the Foundation Mehmet Dahaoğlu is representing Alanya on behalf of the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV). ALTAV, which will promote Alanya at both fairs, will participate in MITT Moscow, which will begin immediately after the Intourmarket Moscow held between March 11-13, with a large, specially designed Alanya stand.
“PUTIN’S STATEMENTS ARE VERY POSITIVE”
Stating that Intourmarket is being organized in Russia for the 12th time, Dahaoğlu said, “We are promoting Alanya under the roof of the Ministry's 100-square-meter stand. The target for this year's fair, which was visited by 78,500 people in 2015 and 72,500 people in 2016, is 80,000 visitors.” Reporting that the statement made the previous day by Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he mentioned having vacationed in Turkey several times before and leaving with very good impressions every time, reflected very positively on the fair atmosphere, Dahaoğlu said, “Following these statements, the Russian press wrote that Putin has done a very good job advertising Turkey.” On the other hand, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, who is also the President of ALTAV, will also join the promotional activities and conduct meetings as of March 13.
