Prior to the Transavia flight that landed at Gazipaşa Airport on April 27, 2011, for Neckermann Netherlands, a delegation consisting of officials from the Netherlands Neckermann travel agencies, the Transavia sales manager, officials, and members of the press arrived in Alanya on April 25 with the owner and officials of Diana. The guest delegation, totaling 132 people, included the Thomas Cook tour operator Neckermann Netherlands, Transavia, and Diana Travel. They were hosted through a series of programs organized with the cooperation and support of the Alanya Municipality, Alanya Association of Tourism Professionals (ALTİD), Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), and SKAL Alanya, and Alanya was promoted through historical and recreational areas, entertainment venues, city center and surrounding excursions, and a safari tour.
Thomas Cook Neckermann Netherlands CEO Susan Duinhoven stated that she and all participants were happy to be in Alanya, that they would evaluate their contacts and impressions in Alanya upon their return, and that cooperation with Alanya would continue to increase. The guest delegation was sent back on the flight that landed at Gazipaşa Airport on April 27.
