ALTİD Chairman Burhan Sili stated that approximately 200 facilities in Alanya are hosting around 28,000 earthquake victims, and that the total number of accommodations in the region includes 17,600 homes and 2,000 dormitory beds for state-supported students. Sili also explained that, thanks to the contributions of facility owners who were unable to open their hotels or who have limited financial resources, meals are being provided three times a day to guests staying in apartments and smaller facilities through a food factory, and that food supplies are being provided. Sili expressed his gratitude to many institutions and volunteers, including Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Antalya Governor Ersin Yazıcı, Alanya District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, and ALTSO Chairman Eray Erdem, for their support during this process, and wished that such a disaster would never happen again.

Burhan Sili, Chairman of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association, stated, "The tourism facilities operators in Alanya, who are hosting 28,000 earthquake victims in their hotels, have demonstrated a great success and are undertaking an important role during the disaster period."
Burhan Sili, a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED) and the President of the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), made the following statement regarding the disaster situation, noting that the country is going through a difficult period, and that Alanya hotel operators have selflessly contributed during this process: "We extend our condolences to all of our nation, and our prayers for the souls of those who lost their lives in the earthquake that occurred in our country, and our wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured."
“Meals are being provided to thousands of people, three times a day.”
In Alanya, our facilities have opened their doors and are hosting and accommodating those affected by the earthquake, and continue to do so. Approximately 200 facilities in our region are currently hosting around 28,000 earthquake victims. The number of earthquake victims staying in private homes is 17,600, while approximately 2,000 are staying in state-run student dormitories. We are providing meals to guests staying in apartments or smaller facilities that were unable to open their hotels and are receiving financial contributions from facility owners. Through a food factory, we are delivering three meals a day to these guests, even in facilities that had no means to provide food themselves. We are also providing food supplies to facilities with limited financial resources.
“Endless thanks to everyone who works diligently.”
