In Alanya, 10 finalists of the 'Miss Finland 2013' competition, who are camping in the region, appeared before the jury for the selection of 'Alanya Beauty,' which serves as a rehearsal for the grand final. In the competition organized by the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and Detur, the 10 finalists appeared before the jury. The beauties who took to the runway at the competition held at Banana Beach Hotel attempted to receive points from the jury, which included Finland's Honorary Consul in Alanya Kuddusi Müftüoğlu. Walking on the runway in bikini, evening gown, and nightwear respectively, the beauties drew attention with their stage presence.
REHEARSAL BEFORE THE FINAL
In the competition serving as a rehearsal for the final to be held in Finland next week, 20-year-old Katariina Suuniitty won first place and wore the Alanya Beauty crown. Speaking after the competition, Detur Regional Manager Terhi Alanya stated that the contestants performed their last serious rehearsal before the final. Noting that the finalists will take to the podium to be selected as the beauty of Finland with the experience they gained here, Terhi Alanya remarked that the scores received in this competition will also be reflected in the finals.
I WAS NOT EXPECTING FIRST PLACE
Katariina Suuniitty, who was selected as 'Alanya Beauty', said that she did not expect to be first while walking onto the podium, but that the crown she received made her proud. Stating that it was her first time visiting Türkiye, Kerisalmi said, "Turkish women are quite well-groomed and beautiful."
