Representatives of Alanya project partner institutions also attended the meeting chaired by İbrahim Güngör, the dean of Alanya Faculty of Business Administration. A.Ü. Alanya Faculty of Business Administration Dean Prof. Dr. İbrahim Güngör, in his information regarding the general content of the project, stated that they consider dormitories separately for female and male students, and that during the months of September–June when higher education is in session, they will prefer facilities that ensure students can stay in the dormitories without other customers being admitted. Dean Güngör said that they expect the students, whose numbers will exceed 3,000 in the upcoming academic year, to also make an important contribution to the economy, and in this regard, they have taken measures to protect both the apart-hotels and the students entrusted to the faculty by their families.

Pointing out that they must implement a healthy dormitory project in Alanya, the Dean stated in his speech: “If we cannot establish a system that will satisfy the students' families, the demand shown by students for the higher education institutions in our district will decrease. In this case, the scores required to enter the educational institutions in Alanya during exams will also drop. As the faculty management, we do not want this. Our only desire is to be higher education institutions with high scores that are preferred. For this reason, in cooperation with apart hotels, we have developed a project model in which mutual interests are protected.”

ALTSO Deputy Council President and ALTİD Board Member Hayriye Sadullahoğlu Argun, starting her speech by stating that even if one does not have a child, everyone has a student relative, said, “We will ensure that the number of students, which increases every year, stays in facilities that meet our criteria. For this purpose, we will direct the families of students to the Faculty and Vocational School during registration. We will also make the necessary announcements. The general opinion of student parents is that Alanya is a tourism city and their children cannot be controlled very much here. However, we have received the requests of the student parents and aimed to implement a system suitable for them. We want to implement the project in this academic year. We will establish a structured system for the families who come in August to register their students.”

In the continuation of the meeting, answers were provided to the questions of apartment facility operators. ALTSO Secretary General Servet Ünlü, who provided information regarding the details of the project beyond its general outlines, stated that the application would be made to the secretariat to be established within ALTSO, that the necessary documents and posters would be distributed to the facilities included in the project, and that inspections would be conducted at periodic times.
