The Turkey Festival, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and hosted by TÜROFED at Russia's Krasnaya Presnya park, has concluded. While ALTAV represented Alanya at the festival, 200 rooms from across Turkey were gifted to Russian citizens through a raffle held as part of the event. ALTAV and ALTİD Vice President Mehmet Dahaoğlu emphasized the intense interest of the 200,000 Russian citizens who visited the festival area and the promotional activities carried out.

The “Turkey Festival,” organized in Russia’s largest park, Krasnaya Presnya, aiming to contribute to the friendship between the TURKEY-RUSSIAN Federations, has concluded. With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and hosted by the Turkish Hotel Association (TÜROFED), Turkey’s cultural, touristic, and artistic values were brought to Moscow. The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) represented Alanya at the festival. Mehmet Dahaoğlu, Vice President of both ALTAV and the Alanya Tourism Operators Association (ALTİD), stated the following regarding the completed festival:
“THE WINNER OF THE COMPETITION GRABBED THE PRIZE”
The three-day festival was virtually swarmed by Muscovites, especially during the final two days which coincided with the weekend. According to information received from officials, 200,000 Russians visited the festival area. People were at the festival grounds from early hours until late at night. Since it was a consumer-oriented festival, we had come to Moscow with a large amount of promotional materials featuring Alanya visuals. We organized competitions here and gave Alanya gifts to the winners. People formed large queues for these activities. In this overwhelming interest, we felt how much Russians love the Turkish people, Antalya, and Alanya.
“200 ROOMS WERE GIVEN AWAY VIA RAFFLE”
We foresee a wider participation next year in this event, which also received great support from the Antalya Governorship. In the holiday raffle held on the final day of the festival, 200 rooms across Turkey were given as gifts as part of a promotional campaign for Russian citizens. Additionally, in the entertainment event called ‘Silent Disco,’ Russians dancing to Guram Granovskiy’s Alanya song, which they listened to through headphones, created colorful scenes.
“ALTAV IS EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD”
As ALTAV, we will continue without interruption to participate in festivals and tourism fairs held in many corners of the world, to attract foreign members of the press to our region, to host popular foreign artists in Alanya for music video shoots, to contribute to the activities of our foreign nationals living in our city, and to carry out our domestic market promotion efforts.
