The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) stand at the Adventure 2018 Tourism and Travel Fair, held in Vilnius, the capital of LITHUANIA, attracted significant attention, with the participation of Kerim Yılmaz, a member of the ALTAV Board of Directors. Yılmaz stated that, compared to the previous year, a minimum increase of 10-15% and a projected increase of approximately 25% is expected in the LITHUANIAN market. He also mentioned that travel agencies Nova Turas and Akay consider the Turkish market, and specifically Alanya, as their primary choice. Alanya, leveraging its twinning agreement with the city of Trakai in LITHUANIA, aims to significantly increase the number of travelers this year, as tour operators such as Tez Tur, Nova Turas, and Kidy Tours are raising their passenger targets.

The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) stand at the Adventure 2018 Tourism and Travel Fair, held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, attracted significant interest. Visitors flocked to the stand, where they learned about Alanya's natural beauty, historical sites, the quality of its facilities, and the hospitality of the local people. Various promotional brochures and offers were distributed to the visitors. Kerim Yılmaz, a member of the ALTAV Board of Directors, represented Alanya at the fair. "THERE IS AN INCREASE IN THE LITHUANIAN MARKET," said Yılmaz, sharing his impressions of the fair. "We worked hard here for three days to promote Alanya in the best and most effective way. We saw that there will be an increase of at least 10-15 percent compared to last year in the Lithuanian market. Our expectation is that this will be around 25 percent. We met with representatives of Nova Turas and Akay travel agencies here. They openly stated that Alanya is the preferred destination in the Turkish market. "ONE OF THE COUNTRIES NOT AFFECTED BY THE CRISIS" Lithuania is one of the few countries that have not been affected by the crises experienced in our country in the past two years. Seventy percent of those coming from Lithuania to Turkey prefer Antalya. We learned that over 130,000 Lithuanians entered our country up to November last year. Alanya receives a very significant share of this. "OPERATORS HAVE INCREASED THEIR TARGETS" Tez Tur, one of the three main tour operators in Lithuania, brought 42,000 tourists to Turkey last year, and its target for this year is 53,000. Nova Turas also aims to bring 50,000 tourists this year, compared to 40,000 last year. Kidy Tours has increased its target from 10,500 to 15,000. "THERE IS AN ADVANTAGE FROM THE SISTER CITY RELATIONSHIP" The main factor in this is that Alanya and the city of Trakai in Lithuania are sister cities, and regular promotional activities are carried out under the umbrella of ALTAV every year. Throughout the fair, we distributed various promotions, and we offered Alanya vacations as a prize to those who invited their friends to our Instagram and Facebook pages. We also offered products specific to Alanya. They are very happy. We will achieve the desired figures from Lithuania this year, and we will increase them.
