The Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) celebrated its 25th anniversary with a very special organization on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Alanya Castle, a candidate for the UNESCO World Heritage List. The program, which began with a welcome cocktail in the Tophane Neighborhood of Alanya Castle, was attended by the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mr. Ertuğrul GÜNAY, Antalya Deputy and President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mr. Mevlüt ÇAVUŞOĞLU, Tourism Member from Sweden in the European Parliament Mr. Göran LINDBLAD, TÜROFED President Mr. Ahmet BARUT, Antalya Governor Dr. Ahmet ALTIPARMAK, Alanya District Governor Mr. Hulusi DOĞAN, Alanya Mayor Attorney Hasan SİPAHİOĞLU, officials from the Ministry's European Union Coordination Department, Tourism Director Mr. İbrahim ACAR, members of the Antalya Provincial Culture and Alanya protocols, as well as numerous hoteliers, tour operators, and agency officials. Following the cocktail, ALTİD President Gülçin GÜNER delivered the opening speech in the Esat Burcu area, and the activities of ALTİD over the past 25 years were presented through a slide show.
